“Best cupcake around.” – The Georgetown Dish

Savannah Cupcake was born in 2010.  Although the idea was in the works for several years while living in Savannah GA, it wasn’t until a move to Washington, DC prompted the company to go professional.

Baking weekly for friends, family and neighbors proved to be a hit as hundreds of cupcakes were shared.  Then, the company began to take shape.  We had the recipes down to a science, but what would we name this company?  It was a longing for the south, its charm and warm weather that led to the name: Savannah Cupcake.

Often touted as “DC’s premier cupcake catering company,” Savannah Cupcake now caters several home and corporate events, providing one-of-a-kind cupcakes to Washington DC’s families, professionals, restaurants, kids and of course, kids at heart.
